Individual course websites do contain basic contact information for each student. All course websites are restricted through authorized user names and passwords. While the student is logged on, "cookies" are created for the duration of the session. These cookies cannot be re-used. Cookies are elements of data that a website can send to your browser which may then be stored on your system.

In addition to this, logs are maintained of the student's activity on the site. Access to these logs is restricted to authorized course and site administrators.
